Our CEA children are back in classes for the 2024–2025 school year. We currently have seventeen elementary students, thirteen high school students, and one college student.
We are proud of these children and their dedication to their studies. Thank you for supporting these children so that they have the opportunity to go to school.
Construction Update – Staff/Visitor Housing
Our next construction project is underway as we work to complete our “master plan” for our facility.
This project is much needed for staff/visitor housing. The structure will have 6 separate housing units of two different sizes. As we continue to increase the number of children in our care we must also increase our staff.
Many of our staff are needed/and prefer to stay on the property full-time. This will provide them with on-site housing as well as space for other overnight guests.
Can You Help Us?
We need songbooks for our church. We are hoping a congregation will have enough used songbooks to supply our needs or be willing to purchase new books for us. We would like to have a minimum of 60 songbooks all the same.
We can collect them on our next US trip and we will ship them back here to the Philippines.
If your church can assist us with this request, please contact me! Ron Brown – rbrown406@hotmail.com
With Blessings Come Responsibilities
Counting our blessings will surely keep us busy and help us realize just how fortunate we are. Such blessings come with responsibilities.
In Luke 12: 33 – 34 we are given a warning:
33Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. 34For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Of course, we all remember Jesus being asked “who is my neighbor?” and He responded by telling the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25 – 37).
Where will we be found when the Son of Man judges the world? Are we on the left with the goats, or on the right with the sheep?
Matthew 25: 37 – 40
37“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
Let us put faith in God’s promise found in Luke 6:38:
38Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Let us be found on the right with the sheep, having “did it to one of the least of these,” and being generous as we are blessed and able to do so.
Philippians 3:12
12Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
