We are also nearing completion of preparing the interior and exterior walls for primer and paint.

We have had some issues with the window installation but those are being worked out and we expect almost all the windows to be installed soon.

We have also completed the right hand side property line enclosure wall. This increases our level of security from intruders as well as acting as a “fire wall” when nearby sugar cane fields are burned following harvesting. We still have a good deal more of the wall to complete on the opposite side of the property.

Upcoming tasks to complete on the children’s home are: floor/bathroom tile work, interior/exterior doors, lighting fixtures, and plumbing fixtures.

Church Incorporation

Church of Christ establishment

Although managing the construction work and purchasing materials takes up a lot our time, we are also in the process of preparing all the documents needed for incorporation of the church of Christ that will also be on the property. This will be the first church of Christ in this city of over 80,000 people.

What is to be accomplished with this mission?

Our Philippine Mission has two main goals in an effort to evangelize, edify, and practice benevolence: fulfill the “great commission” by establishing a church of Christ, and care for children in need – both physically and spiritually. We also will occasionally do outreach events for the local communities in need.

One advantage we have here in the Philippines in our Mission is freedom to teach the word of God. We have no restraints imposed on us from the government when teaching those who need to hear the “good news”.

Mark 16:15
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

By supporting our mission you are enabling the fulfillment of these biblical goals here in the Philippines!

1 Timothy 4:6-8
“If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profited little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.”

Our Sincere thanks and God’s Blessings to you all,

Ronald and Georgia Brown
