After license renewal submission and assessment in late 2022, renewal of our license to operate has been approved!
We start off the new year with excitement as well as cautious optimism! We hope to reach maximum capacity of our two children’s homes in 2023 and work to develop our staff further to meet the needs of the work.
We are still desperately seeking to find a qualified minister to lead the church work and take on the associated duties of that position.
Gigi and I hope to plan a trip to the US sometime in 2023 to report to donors/supporters as it has now been 3 years since our last visit.
Each year has its difficulties and struggles, but we choose to concentrate on the growth and development of the CEA children as our focus and reward for our efforts.
We hope that 2023 brings prosperity to everyone and we ask for your continued support in this new year. We cannot continue to change lives, as we are doing, without your generous support.
Thank you all so very much, and Happy New Year!
Construction Update
Our “CEA Learning Center” construction project has slowed due to the holidays and weather conditions. We have almost completed the floor beams and will soon begin pouring the slab. The need to complete this building was apparent during the holiday season as it proved difficult on several occasions to get all the children, staff, and visiting guests in the tent at one time for various functions. We have simply outgrown the tent space! We hope that by next Christmas this new building is useable as we really need it! Please consider a donation, of any amount, to help complete this building.

Christmas 2022
The CEA children were blessed beyond our hopes this recent Christmas 2022! With your donations we provided them with good food, various activities, Christmas party, gifts, and fun. We had an overwhelming turnout by local donors as well. Various groups came to visit the children and shower them with an abundance of food and gifts! We cannot thank you all enough for sharing your blessings, and generously giving to make Christmas so special for the CEA children!!!
Psalm 84:10-12
10For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
The Lord will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold
From those who walk uprightly.
12O Lord of hosts,
Blessed is the man who trusts in You!
