My name is Larry Judd, I’m from the Ooltewah church of Christ in Tennessee, in the United States. So, this is my first time to Casa Esperanza and I am very, very, very impressed.
It is a very beautiful facility. A lot of vision has gone into it. A lot of hard work …
Well, when we think about, okay, here’s this beautiful, beautiful building and children are going to be occupying this. There’s going to be three more.
There’s the plan for the cottages where the visitors can meet but also being accessible for groups coming in for church retreats.
When we think about the community training in the church building, when we think about the different things that are available – the training, the school, where the students are going to be growing educationally but also spiritually …
As I said, this is my first trip and so I was on a sort of fact-finding thing for the Ooltewah congregation and I’m going to be going back to our elders with a very, very positive response and a request for monthly funding of Casa Esperanza, not only again for what is being done but the vision.
And my impression in coming was an orphanage and the possible establishment of a congregation. But, then, when I find out about … there’s going to be more than one building, there’s going to be four cottages, there’s going to be an administration building.
There will be a counselor on site. There will be house parents. There will be cottages fixed up for retreats.
There will be the church building that is established and the different tools. Whether it’s medical, whether it’s training, whether it’s seminars, or whatever besides the gospel of Jesus Christ being preached.
The vision and the possibilities that are here and the possibilities for growth that are here, I would highly, highly recommend congregations of churches of Christ in the United States to really check this work out. Take a look at it, I think that you will be very well pleased and get behind the work here at Casa Esperanza of Angels.
