Our CEA family continues to grow with 2 new children added in August and 2 new children added in September. At current time we have 11 boys and 16 girls in our care!
This still leaves 13 empty beds until we are at full capacity for the first two children’s homes.
With this addition of new children, we are seeking more sponsors for these children. The cost is just $35 per month/$420 per year to provide all the necessary things in life such as food, clothing, medical/dental health, schooling, hygiene products, and a beautiful facility to learn and grow for these angels. You will be provided with quarterly reports on how your child is progressing.
Please consider sponsoring a child if you do not already or share this information with friends/family that might be interested in giving HOPE to a child that otherwise would have none.

School Challenges
While we are happy for the children to be able to return to face-to-face classes it is presenting us with numerous challenges! Imagine transporting 27 children to two different schools (elementary/high school) at different times as well as back and forth for extracurricular activities!
Transportation is just one of our new challenges. Several of the children have already experienced bullying by other classmates and are getting a glimpse into just what the world outside the walls of CEA has in store. They see the misbehavior of other children, the foul language, and disobedience many of their new classmate’s display. We continue to remind them “we are people of integrity” and their teachers are noticing this about the CEA children. Many of our children are taking on leadership roles in their classes.
With children in almost every grade level from kindergarten to 11th grade we are also faced almost daily with supply requests…” I need a notebook for this class…”, “I need green sweatpants for P.E.” and on and on it goes most days!
At current time some of the classes are not meeting a full 5 days a week which leaves us with some children still “at home” to manage on the days they are not going to school. The full schedule is supposed to start in November.
Continue to pray for our children, and staff, as we face these new challenges!
Construction Update
Construction of our “CEA Learning Center” is progressing well. Getting a structure “out of the ground” is one of the most important and time-consuming parts, and soon all that work will pay off.
This structure is important for the continued progress of our facility and mission. This building will serve as our multipurpose building until such time as the planned pavilion can be built. It will include spaces that are required by law for a facility such as ours. It will include a library, computer lab, health clinic with isolation rooms for contagious illnesses, office space for our licensed social workers as well as classrooms, storage space and a reception area for guests. We will conduct our weekly worship services, bible studies, and other ongoing events in this building upon completion, as the tent currently used for these activities is vulnerable in inclement weather.
Any financial assistance you are able to contribute towards the construction costs is greatly appreciated!
