Gigi and I will be returning to the US on March 4. I have some necessary dental work to have done, and we need to work on Gigi’s expiring US immigration status.
We will also, of course, be reporting to churches and giving presentations on our mission efforts every Sunday and Wednesday when possible.
If you live in or are aware of a congregation in the following states that would be open to having us speak with either the elders or the congregation about our work, please send us the contact information as soon as possible: Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. We will limit our presentations to these states during this visit.

Construction Update – Staff/Visitor Housing
We have started working on the roof trusses for our staff and the visitor housing project. The electrical rough-in is complete, rough-in plumbing is underway, and we are nearing completion of the exterior finish work.
The front porches and steps have also been poured.
Building Future Leaders
The primary focus of our work at Casa Esperanza of Angels is to cultivate future leaders. We strive to develop leaders in various aspects of life—individuals who will become responsible citizens, ethical business professionals committed to strong work ethics, and, most importantly, leaders within the church.
We know that according to biblical teaching, the head of the church is Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:22 clearly teaches, “And he put all things under His feet and gave Him as head over all things to the church.” He is the great shepherd (Hebrews 13:20) and leader of the flock of God.
Second, the New Testament notes the existence of two groups of human leaders—elders and deacons. The qualifications for these offices are described in 1 Timothy 3:1-12 and Titus 1:5-9. First Peter 5:1-4 also teaches elders to serve as shepherds of God’s people and to live as examples among them. We need to be building young men to take on these roles in the church.
Third, the New Testament recognizes the importance of church members. Members include every person in a local church who has professed faith in Jesus Christ and obeyed the plan of salvation.
Every member is expected to regularly gather together (Hebrews 10:25), to grow (Acts 2:42), serve others, and share their faith. First Corinthians 12 notes that every member is to be involved in service for an effective congregation. Ephesians 4:11-12 notes church leaders exist to equip members for service.
Every leader has a role to play, regardless of their position. Our priority is to uplift the precious children at Casa Esperanza of Angels. Will you join us in this crucial work?
John 13:13-17
13You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. 14If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. 15For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. 16Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. 17If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
