This is an upcoming project under our Child Education and Youth Ministry Program. We need books to furnish the library for children at the orphan care facility we’re building at the Casa Esperanza of Angels Philippine Mission. Excess books will be distributed to schools and children from surrounding communities.
Special thanks to Tiffany Gholston of the Bethel church of Christ in Dunlap, TN for initiating and making the donation of 500+ children’s books from Whitwell High School Interact Club possible! What an incredible start for our children’s library! Thanks also to Rhonah Navarro, pictured above with Gigi Olis-Brown, for helping us pack and ship them!
We also need school materials and supplies such as school bags, writing materials, etc. While we aim is to provide holistic faith-based education to the orphans and children under our care at the Casa Esperanza of Angels facility, we also want to be relevant and create an impact on the lives of the children in the neighboring communities. In the coming months, we hope to select a school in a depressed location near our site and distribute much-needed school supplies to the children in that school.
