Our CCTV surveillance system is now functional with four cameras at the front entrance area of the property.

Work on the elevated water storage tank also continues.

What are the Upcoming Plans?

With a pending final land payment coming due we will slow down the continuation of major construction projects, not already underway, until we are able to save adequate funds to continue. So during this time we will continue with other tasks such as all the small accessories needed to make the first children’s home functional. This includes things like shower curtains, shelving/storage, towel racks, smoke detectors … all those little, but essential, things.

We will also be working on the paperwork/document compilation that will be necessary for us to become registered and licensed with the Department of Social Welfare and Development, which will be our governmental overseer.

Also, as mentioned in previous newsletters, we will conduct another community outreach event on Jan. 24, 2019. Donations are still needed for this event!

Georgia and I will be traveling to the US in late February and spending 2 months (March/April) traveling and giving presentations on our mission work.

PLEASE contact us ASAP to get your congregation on our schedule! We will be hoping to confirm sponsors for children and secure commitments to cover monthly operating costs.

Tentative Grand Opening

We were tentatively hoping to open our doors for operation in May or June of 2019. While this may still be possible, it proves difficult to set a date.

We need to secure adequate sponsors for children we will accept into our care, seek and hire individuals for house parents, and complete the water & electrical supply infrastructure projects which are proving to be very costly. Once we complete these tasks and begin accepting children into our care we can finalize the registration/licensing process with the DSWD.

We are very anxious for this event and know you as donors/supporters are also looking forward to this time! Thank you to everyone who has supported this work and put trust in us to facilitate the start-up of this mission effort.

Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Our Sincere thanks and God’s Blessings to you all,

Ronald and Georgia Brown
