We slowly continue to add children into our care. There are so many children here that need our help, but unfortunately, we cannot help them all. We review their situation and choose those that we feel have the best chance of being successful in the programs we offer.
The expenses to properly care for these children are many such as: food, purified water, clothing, hygiene products, medical/dental care, utilities for their homes, transportation, staffing, and other overhead expenses.
We need more sponsors for these children. We ask for $35 per month to sponsor a child. This small amount of support will change their life forever…I promise you! Many children come to us hungry and suffering from malnutrition. Some cannot read or write. They have never lived in a home with running water or a refrigerator. The clothes on their backs may be all they have. They have never been to a dentist and rarely a doctor. We provide all this and more for these children.
At CEA they are loved and cared for properly. They are taught to read, write, and mathematics. But the most important thing we do for them is teach them about God! Immediately they begin having bible classes, learning hymns, and attending worship services. They learn to pray and how important these things are for their life.

Construction Updates
The main structure of our exterior enclosure wall is complete! Some areas still need the top bond beam and extended columns for electrical supply lines. Walling in nearly five acres is a big job that we choose to do slowly rather than have that expense all at once. We are now safer from various dangers like fire from the burning of nearby sugar cane fields, stray dogs and cats, trespassers, and perhaps a few less snakes paying us a visit!
We are so very thankful a generous donor has stepped up with the first large donation towards our CEA Learning Center! We are in the final stages of blueprint revisions prior to our application for building permits. The construction of this building will move our facility to the next level as well as fulfill some government requirements for our facility. We are still a considerable distance away from the full amount needed to construct this building so please consider a donation today if you are able.
Limited Classes Resume
Our CEA children are now attending face-to-face classes at school on a limited basis for the last few weeks of the school year. Our elementary children go in two batches…one batch on Monday and Tuesday, and another batch Wednesday and Thursday, but only for half days. Our high school children attend on Mondays and Tuesdays of each week for a half day.
The children’s teachers are reporting back to us that the CEA children are very well behaved, they are respectful, and smart! We are so immensely proud of them and have encouraged them to continue being a good example to their classmates!
We are still unsure what the face-to-face class schedule will be for the upcoming school year that will begin August 22.
