Thank You All For The Hospitality! Our US Trip Concludes. | CEA November 2023 Newsletter

Our fall 2023 US trip is now complete. During this trip we visited several churches in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee that we have not visited before to share with them about our mission efforts. We are hoping they will join in to help children in need and reach out to the community. We want to thank them all for the opportunity to share with them about the work we are doing and their hospitality!

What Does My Donation Really Go Towards?

Your donation is essential for us to keep doing what we do. Of course, we are required to have adequate staffing to care for the children, maintain and improve the facility, perform various tasks daily …so staff salaries are where some of your money goes. We must meet government mandated benefits for employees and minimum wage laws, but we do our best to keep the cost of salaries reasonable.

Caring for the children at the facility is a big part of where your money goes. We must feed, clothe, and shelter the children. We must meet their medical/dental needs as well as daily hygiene supplies. We occasionally must have doctor visits and medications. While public schooling is free, we do have expenses for uniforms, transportation, projects, basic school supplies, book bags, and other required expenses associated with their education.

Spiritual education is also of upmost importance to us, so we have expenses for our full-time minister and educational materials as well as things needed for worship services and bible studies. Outreach and evangelism to the community is also a part of this expense.

Expenses for electricity, propane gas, internet/phone service, maintenance, all are part of keeping a facility like ours functioning on a daily basis.

At CEA we have a “master plan” for our facility and as we are able, without going into debt, we continue to move forward with that plan. As a result, we often have “ongoing construction” of our facility as we continue to expand/enhance our facility so we can do what we do better and expand our abilities to help others in numerous ways.

The bottom line of what your donation does is it changes lives! While not every child that comes to the facility is a success story, many are. Some children understand the “once in a lifetime” gift we are giving…others fail to see or understand it. We must remain focused on those that are embracing this opportunity and enjoy watching them grow and mature. Their success…is OUR success!

James 2:14-17

14What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
